Any recommendations for a cool mobile for me to buy?
I need a new phone and unsure of what is hot and what is rubbish.  What phones do forum members have and what do they think of them?

I currently have a Samsung, which is years old but the battery is great and the user interface is nice.  I am quite attached to it but the time has come for me to find something more modern.  Let me know what you guys have and recommend.

The iPhone is nice.  I don't have one but I do have the iTouch which is like the iPhone but without the phone.  I guess it is just the 'i'.  Undecided
Very nice and easy to use but not much fun if you have nails.  It looks trendy too.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8900. It is a nice little phone and the small qwertz keypad is usable despite its size. It only supports up to EDGE and therefore has no 3G capabilities. This is not a problem unless you plan on heavy Internet usage and can be beneficial in that battery life is prolonged.

Many people are buying Blackberry or IPhone without any need for so many functions they could offer you. I remember a shop assistant trying to help me with a choice of a handy asked me once "do you need it for 'telefonieren oder fotografieren' (making calls or photos)?" That made me think that for making photos and listening to music I have other devices.

To my mind the best way of getting a new telephone at decent price is going for a contract with some of German mobile providers as Vodafone, O2, etc. Wit the contact you can get a new mobile telephone for free every 2d year.

For me the best mobile phone could be only from Sony Ericsson. I like to listen to music and radio, so this might explain my choice.
