Nockherberg is a place owned by Paulaner brewery. The whole thing is about testing Paulaner strong beer of 2010, making fun of politicians that are present at the fest, singing and dancing.

Well they have a lot of ammo to make fun of politicians with. Be careful with the starkbier, it is really far stronger than most people realise who are new to Munich, 8% approx.

And this year, apparently, the comedians by Nockherberg went to far with their jokes. Some politicians are not very happy.

The case with a bad joke about concentration camp cost comedian Michael Lerchenberg his place by Paulaner show. In his Lenten sermon he had on Wednesday, he dared compare the FDP politics of Guido Westerwelle in terms of Hartz IV, to concentration camp and caused a nationwide storm of indignation.
