Call me a fool, but on your website I was unable to find a map to get to the festival.  I get the S-Bahn and get off at Hallbergmoos station but where to next?

I see there is a shuttlebus to take you from the station to the festival, but is this clearly marked as so and do you need to pay?
How long does the bus journey take?
What about anyone who is driving, is there likely to be enough parking spaces available?

@KingCape, there is an address on the site under the "Festival site" link on the left of the front page.

OK. King Cape's question has been answered. The shuttlebus will be at the train station and will be easy to find and marked. It worked last year. The bus trip is free. The journey takes about 10 minutes. There will be adequate parking unless the festival turns into a Woodstock 2009 - which would be nice actually. Shuttlebus running times are on the website. See you there.

Thanks Garibaldi.
For those who don't know, this is quite a popular event and promises to be a great few days.
The location is near and you can use the S8 (airport direction) to reach Hallbergmoos.

There is no reason not to head over to this years Greenfarm Festival.  If anyone is interested in joining the TM group when we go, then let me know.
Also, Derek Beggs (renowned Scottish artist and TM member) will be there and have some of his work on show.  He is offering a very generous discount to TM members - just mention the forum name when purchasing one of his works of art.

Hope to see you all there.

Do you have shares in this festival?
What is so good about it that it warrants me taking time out of my schedule to go all the way up to the airport?  I guess they made it beside the airport to drown out the noise of the music?

You never give up Jihad.
There is another forum in Munich for you if your only goal in life is to try to be irritating.  This forum is a resource for practical, proactive help with expats helping expats.  It is not really for overgrown kids to practice their name-calling.

Oh dear here we go again..... check into www.greenfarmfestival.de and read the programm. I really do not have the time to list each of the events/35 bands on this site. There is more than enough information/entertainment on the website. Hope you understand. See you at the festival.

Hi Shytic,
do not worry, you are not alone, it is not obvious at first glance where the timetable of events is.  You need to look at the foot of the left menu on the front page, which has a non-standard navigation system in place in the form of two arrows (triangles) for up and down.  Hit the down arrow till you reach the 'programm' link and you will find the time slots for the bands there.

I have to admit, it took me a few minutes to find the programme of events.

Catch you guys there next weekend.

Do you think it advisable for us to allocate a table?

This is an open-air festival on an organic-farm. It is highly unusual and organisationally impossible to have reserved seating at any open-air event. Remember Woodstock? If not, ask your parents.
I have now placed detailed instructions on how to navigate the website menu on the first 4 pages of the site. Aren't I kind shytic?
See you there.
