Hi everyone

I am going to have holidays in Munich this weekend.

I would like to ask if I buy one Bayern Ticket, can I use the ticket to travel with another friend from Munich to Fussen, Fussen to Oberammergau, Oberammergau back to Munich, and to ride on any kind of transportation in Munich afterwards for the day?

many thanks

Using a Bayern Partner Ticket you can travel anywhere within Bavaria for the day.  I think you can even get a weekend ticket as well, though considerably more expensive.  With the former you can include up to 4 other people with you.  You can even stand at the platform where the train is and grab a few other people to make up the number to 5 and charge them.  This effectively means that you can travel for free if you do this for two journeys.

Is Neuschwanstein open at this time of year? I thought it would be covered in snow and difficult to ascend/descend.
