Hi,
I'm Anya and new here. I'm German, my husband is from the US and we just moved to Munich.
My husband used to be in the Army and we would take our daughter (she's 2 and a half) trick or treating on post. Now he is out, we are new in Munich and have no idea where to take her. We live a little outside Munich in a tiny, sleepy town and no one here even knows what Halloween is.....
Google doesn't tell me much either, always just night club parties for adults.
Is there no place to go to with a toddler for trick or treating?

Can you guys give me some tips?
She really loves Halloween and I don't want to disappoint her...

Thanks,
Anya.

Hi Anya. That is so thoughtful of you to check this out for your daughter. Am I right to think your daughter and you wish to go somewhere in Munich on the 31st in the evening? I know some parents in the suburbs who are probably celebrating halloween but their kids are aged 4/5ish. Is that about the age range of your daughter?

Perhaps someone has noticed some local posters/adverts for kids events in their area on Halloween?  If so, then please post the details up here.

I came across an advert on another forum posted by some expats organising a trick or treat event in Neuhausen/Gern on 31st, 5pm-7pm.  They can be contacted via the following email and/or phone numbers (depending on where you want to go)

email: halloween@089news.de
for 80637 - 0176 2200 3978
for 80638 - 0172 8642 815

Hope you have a good evening and the weather holds out.  Anyone have a semi-reliable weather forecast for Saturday evening?
