With obligatory fees for studying at Universities of Bavaria it became nearly impossible for some young people to get a good education. I wonder how much does it costs to study in Munich? Count in high rents, expensive local transport costs, prices for glossaries. It seems to be pretty tough to be be a student now.

I know that fees are ranging from 500-600 per semester in different Bavarian Universities, plus about 640 euros to survive (monthly maintenance allowance BAfoeG).

I could not imagine the prices were so high. But this monthly maintenance allowance BAfoeG is probably only a loan that you should pay back with your first salary. So, without parents' financial help or bank loan you cannot study. Or is it possible to combine work and study?

I know many students that are able to combine study and job. They are working part-time, making various praktika (work experience) and pass through exams with good notes. So, it is possible.

Actually, in Bavarian Universities there is is very high percentage of foreign students. Imagine, how they are able to cope with studying and jobs in foreign country without anybody's help.

One should admit that in comaprison to other countries studying in Germany is no so much expensive. Because earlier it was for free now one cannot use to the thought of paying for his/her study.

I would just like to point out that I worked while I studied, and although alot of my fellow students didn't have to (Parents, trust fund, etc), they also worked during Uni, it provided us with our own Independence, greater (If that's possible) social life, and speaking from ones own personal experience, a great feeling of achievement.
It is possible, its hardwork no question, but whenever did anything good come easy

I am quite impressed at foreign students coming over here and studying in a language they are most likely not that experienced in. Then piling a part-time job on top, as well as the complications and uncertainties of living in a foreign country, first time away from home, etc. It must all add up to quite a serious learning curve for these students. Character building of course and many will learn more from these experiences than they will on their actual course. I still feel a little sympathy for them.
