Autumn is in full swing and many of us may be feeling a little cheated by the Munich weather this year. First there was the long cold winter, followed by a relatively cold spring, then a non-existant washed-out summer (the wettest in many decades, which however improved a bit in August/September) and finally a non-too-spectacular autumn so far. Use this thread to cheer us up, maybe even add some good autumn-themed photos. |

For men who have struggled to shop for shoes in Munich, help is at hand. Some forum members, of the more sylish variety, have contributed to a thread about where to buy good quality shoes. In the good old tradition of most forums, this thread evolved into a discourse on male vanity. Share your views here and educate us on the virtues of male pride in personal appearance. |

Halloween, though originally an Irish pagan holiday, made its way to the USA via Irish immigrants. Though the event in its current form is predominantly an American tradition, it is making its way to Europe and is growing in popularity. Germany is one of the countries embracing it, though events are not yet commonplace. For a discussion on this visit this thread. |
